| As soon as I get a hold of polished and/or colored final concepts for the DOME Academy school uniforms, I'll begin drafting patterns and searching for fabric. If it possible, I need the picture to include outer- and overwear, such as a jacket. Some military schools require girls to wear stockings instead of socks, but I don't know if it applies to DOME and only asked because there is sort of a military theme.
If there is a difference between summer and winter for uniforms (heavy coat, longer sleeves/skirt, etc.), please include that. =D
These are all for my personal satisfaction; if we're too busy, I'll wait for the first episode.
MY GOAL: At least one Generic DOME schoolgirl cosplay and one main character cosplay by OMG!con 2010 in Paducah, KY (an hour from my home)! The con will be celebrating 5 years in 2010. According to their numbers for this year, there were 992 paid attendees and an estimated 1100 at the event with 250 cities represented. In my eyes, those are a lot of potential Orius fans. =D
FINAL EDIT: Before I forget, I will be volunteering (more than likely) at the same con. Do we want t-shirts? Because the Singing Sisters logo would look great on one.

| Now that sounds like an excellent idea, give me, Chris, and the sisters time to collaborate and we should have something for you. | |

| Sounds fabulous. =D I'm hardly ever on my messengers when it says I am (just got a new job, so, meh), but if you just leave me a note, I'll always answer back just a little later than you expect.
Speaking of the sisters, I would love to do a Cherry for the "main" cosplay. That or a Negative.

| [Late Response is late]
Since I'm in KY now I can try to attend with you on that if you want. God knows I could use the break when the time rolls around, I'm sure. /random and bored. Server is down at school so surprisingly has time to review the forums in better detail.

| I would be all over that like a spiked club on a pinata at a fat kid's birthday party. Message, call, or email me and we'll see what we can get worked out. =D | |

| Actually I could pull off cosplaying as Negative easily, but I have a question, Master Cosplayer.
Where the bloody hell can I find colored contacts (and how do they work exactly, I've never toyed with such things).

You can order lots of them online. There are whole-eye ones (I don't know the names) or just ones for the pupils and I've seen them run anywhere from 40 dollars to 200 dollars. Also, apparently under US law you need a prescription for colored contacts, even for ones that don't have prescriptive power. As a precaution, I want to advise that you never buy used contacts, no matter how cheap, contacts from Ebay, or contacts from a "free website". Always clean them before use, even if brand new, and purchase them from a chain store or specialist if you can. As always, if they don't mention a safety policy, don't buy from them.

I've been debating on buying a few. At least 5: Gold, Purple, Bright Blue, Bright Green, and red. Switch them out on the weekdays then just go natural on the weekend. |D; I have a few friends trying ot get me into cosplaying an one of th characters they want me to go as requires contacts, so....

| Just keep in mind that they're hella expensive. Combine the price of a pair of contacts (dear God, no bargain contacts, please; these are your EYES we're tlaking apart) and the cost to commission a cosplay outfit? If you make it yourself, factor the cost for supplies for the outfit and then the time and labor required to make it, unless it's a school uniform, anti-hero trench coat throw-together, or something similar.
Cosplay gets really costly, unfortunately. S'why it's a hobby. XD
